Los Angeles County is the size of a state: it spans 4,000 square miles and contains eighty-eight cities, plus the unincorporated County government.

Each of these communities has its own history, character, and places that help tell its story. And now, each one has its own page on our website, with information about its preservation efforts, how to get involved at the local level, and featured locations on our map of historic places. We'll keep adding content to the pages over time, and we welcome your input.
