C. Tyler Ohanian serves as a shareholder at the law firm of Buchalter where he focuses his practice on real estate transactions and community economic development, with specialties in tax credit finance, real estate finance, opportunity zone investment and general real estate transactions. He has served as our pro bono counsel regarding the CARES Act PPP loan/grant. Ohanian has experience representing investors, developers and lenders throughout the country in historic rehabilitation projects eligible for tax credits and other incentive programs. Ohanian also has provided counsel on numerous community economic development projects in low-income communities throughout Los Angeles, including legal aid foundations, youth performing arts academies, federally qualified health centers, hospitals, and local nonprofits.
