Office of Historic Resources
Located in the Department of City Planning, the City’s Office of Historic Resources (OHR) oversees all City-managed historic preservation activities, from reviewing local landmark applications and proposed alterations to designated resources (through the Cultural Heritage Commission), to managing the City's 22 historic districts (HPOZs) and Mills Act contracts, to shepherding the first-ever citywide historic resources survey. To find the OHR website, click on "Historic Preservation" on the left side of the Planning Department home page.
