Last Remaining Seats (LRS) is the Los Angeles Conservancy’s annual series of classic films and live entertainment in historic theatres. It takes place over several weeks each summer, typically in June. What started in 1987 as a way to draw attention to L.A.’s historic theatres is now a summer tradition!
Conservancy members can purchase tickets during the members-only pre-sale, which begins Wednesday, April 10, at 10 a.m. General public sales begin Wednesday, April 17th, at 10 a.m.
Members must be logged in to access member pre-sales and discounts.
During the member presale (April 10-16), member and youth (ages 17 and under) tickets will be at an extra discounted price of $18 each.
Starting April 17, member and youth (ages 17 and under) tickets will be $20 each, and general public tickets are $25 each.
Any remaining tickets for each screening will be sold at the door for $25 each.
The prices above are flat fees. There are no additional fees associated with ticket purchases.
No, there is no discounted group ticketing.
We don’t offer series tickets, but you can purchase tickets to each separate screening on your own.
You can buy up to four tickets per screening at the member price and unlimited tickets at the non-member price. If you’re a Cornerstone member, you can buy up to eight tickets per screening at the member price, but you can buy only four of them online (for more, contact the office at info@laconservancy.org or 213-623-2489).
There are no printed tickets for this event. You will receive your digital tickets a week before the film screening. If you do not receive your tickets by the Wednesday before your screening, please email info@laconservancy.org.
We do not provide ticket refunds or exchanges. If you attend a screening and have an extra ticket, we would gladly welcome you to return it to the Conservancy for resale. If you buy a ticket but don’t attend the screening, we will gratefully accept your purchase as a donation.
Parking is available at various rates in surface lots near theatres; there’s also a limited amount of metered street parking.
Yes, we encourage you to use public transportation to Last Remaining Seats screenings. The Broadway theatres are conveniently located near the Pershing Square Metro station at Fifth and Hill Streets and the 7th Steet Metro station. For details on how to take the Metro Rail or busses to Last Remaining Seats, visit metro.net.
Yes, all performances are general seating, except for a limited number of seats reserved for Last Remaining Seats sponsors and for Los Angeles Conservancy Cornerstone members (Granite levels and above).
Members enjoy early entry to theatres.

We welcome families to Last Remaining Seats! If your child is less than two years old, you can opt not to purchase a ticket for him/her if s/he sits on your lap for the duration of the film.
If your child is two years old or older, you will need to purchase a separate ticket, and s/he will need to sit in his/her own seat. Youth tickets (ages 17 and under) are $18 each during the member presale and $20 after April 16.
Please note: this policy may vary from theatre to theatre as per their policies. If you want to confirm before purchasing a ticket for your child, email info@laconservancy.org.
Doors open one hour before the show starts. Typically, the doors open one hour before the screening time. The program usually lasts between two and three hours.
Due largely to theatre policy, we cannot allow any ticket holders inside the theatres (the lobby or the auditorium) before the doors open. If you arrive early, you will have to stand in line outside the theatre. There are two lines: the Conservancy member line and a general public line. The Conservancy member line will enter the theatre before the general public line.
No outside food or beverages (with the exception of water) are allowed inside any of the theatres. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase on-site.
Yes, photography of the theatres is permitted before and after screenings. Please, no photos during the screenings.
- The Orpheum Theatre is wheelchair accessible for both restrooms and seating and can provide an assisted listening device upon advance request. Please contact the Conservancy at (213) 623-2489 at least twenty-four hours before your visit to arrange for this device.
- The Los Angeles Theatre has limited wheelchair accessibility and a single disabled-access restroom. No assisted listening devices are available.
- The Palace Theatre is wheelchair accessible. There are no restrooms located on the ground floor, but an elevator is available to access restrooms on thee second floor.
The Orpheum Theatre has air-conditioning. The Los Angeles Theatre and The Palace do not have air-conditioning. Please check the weather and prepare accordingly.
The films are chosen through a thorough voting process by our volunteer Last Remaining Seats Committee.

The L.A. Conservancy highly recommends but does not require wearing a face mask while inside any venue for Last Remaining Seats. The L.A. Conservancy is following all City and County of Los Angeles guidelines, and all Covid-19 protocols are subject to change.
